Sports Will there ever be a Finnish GP?
The GP of Finland is cancelled by Dorna, the owner of the MotoGP series. Not just the track stays empty, they even sued the operator.
It is now an open secret that there will definitely not be a Finnish Grand Prix for the time being, as the company that built the Finnish MotoGP track went bankrupt. The events escalated to such an extent that Dorna, the organizer of the World Speedway Championship, is suing KymiRing Events in order to recover the amount provided for the construction.
Previously, the coronavirus epidemic and the economic crisis made it difficult for the organizers, who first postponed the Finnish MotoGP race, and now it has become questionable whether there will ever be a motorcycle race on the track. Since the Hungarian Grand Prix also suffered a similar fate, according to the news, Kazakhstan and India may be the next in line, so that new Asian countries can organize races, and at the same time, the number of races taking place in Europe may decrease.
