Tech Possible future: the Hydra
This very futuristic motorcycle is called Hydra, and not only is its appearance unusual. According to its engineers, the Hydra is hydrogen-powered.
The concept is the joint work of 3 specialists, who worked together earlier at Kiska Design. Years later, as they all worked on their love projects, they started one together: the Hydra, which is a rather strange creature with its elongated rear wheel, strange front light, and that big hump there, where the tank is - just to highlight a few details.
The hump is not just an exciting detail: it is the hydrogen tank. The Hydra was born as a thought experiment, but they wanted to use it to investigate the possibilities of this drive method and what exactly is needed for such a machine to function properly. They tried to tame their imaginations in such a way that the result was a motorcycle that could even be approved for the street.
Originally, the Hydra was not planned to go into production. They were surprised when several companies, interested in the hydrogen technology, approached them. They say they are open to making a production version of the Hydra happen, it would be a dream come true if it came together. However, this would require more thorough planning and more sophisticated ergonomics.
