Tech Helmet with airbag presented by Airoh

Airbag motorcycle equipment has also been available for many years - however, for quite a high price for now. Still, we reached 2022 for Airoh to come up with the combined idea. To be honest, the Spanish helmet manufacturer APC has already floated the idea of creating a crash helmet with an airbag to support the cervical spine, but somehow it didn't get really popular, despite the fact that this type of injury is extremely common and the consequences can be terrifying.

We hope Airoh is already a big brand enough to reach much wider audience this time. The new helmet developed together with the airbag specialist Autoliv raises our ideas about safe motorcycling to a new level. The most impressive part of the prototype presented at EICMA 2022 is how much the exhibited piece kept its usual helmet shape. There are no strange, alien-looking protruding parts, it looks like any common, ordinary thing. According to the measurements so far, however, they can reduce the amount of penetrating forces hitting the head by about 50%.
